battery protection board is an electronic component mainly used to protect lithium-ion batteries from damage caused by overcharging, overdischarging, short-circuiting and other conditions. It usually consists of one or more protection chips, inductors, diodes and MOS tubes. The protection chip can monitor parameters such as battery voltage, current and temperature, and control the switch of the circuit according to the set protection parameters to achieve battery protection. The inductor and diode can be used to filter the output current of the battery to prevent the damage caused by the sudden increase or decrease of the battery current, and the MOS tube can be used to control the on/off of the circuit to realize the protection of the battery. Battery protection boards are widely used in power tools, electric vehicles, smart homes and other fields.
